Lesson 2

You can solve any sort of equations with one variable but of any order using your Casio991ES or Casio 991MS calculators.

Step 1: Program your calcy to the COMP mode. Press MODE followed by 1.

Step 2: Feed in the required eqn. To get a required variable, press ALPHA, followed by the variable X. (Eg: ALPHA > X)

Step 3: Press ALPHA > = to get = on the screen.

Step 4: Press SHIFT > CALC and press =

Step 5: The X= indicates solution and L-R= indicates the error in the solution.

NOTE: Equations can only be solved using, X as the variable.
